TEREA supports the PAFC Congo Basin on its carbon standards.

In 2020, the PAFC Congo Basin sustainable forest management standard was developed and validated by the PAFC forum, integrating two new requirements related to current climate issues:

• A mapping of carbon stocks in the forest
• An assessment of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions related to forestry operations
